Who is running this event?
This is an event organized by fans for fans.

This is my first convention, what should I expect?
The Standard Event and Special Event will show you how a convention day is built up and how special events will look like.

How do I ask questions when a celebrity is on stage?
Just go to one of the microphones, which will place each at a side of the stage. There might be a queue. So please be polite and get in line and wait until it is your turn. We also ask you to be courteous to the people on stage and keep your questions polite.

Will I have the chance to ask my question?
Each guest will have some for his onstage talk. Some might take questions from the audience, some might share some information with you. Time on stage might depend on the schedule of the guest. Our MC will notify the audience and the guest when the last question will be received.

What do I need to take to the registration desk?
Your ticket will be sent after your purchase. You will need to bring this letter, along with photo ID to the event to collect your registration pack. There will be a designated registration desk where this will be done.

When can I pick up my registration pack?
The opening hours of the registration desk will be announced closer to the event. Please do visit this website regularly when the event gets closer.

What will be in my registration pack?
Your registration pack should contain some info about the convention, convention badge, event schedule. You might also find some info about Auckland and New Zealand and other pieces of information that you can check out.

What about the event schedule?
The event schedule will be updated online. So return to our site regularly, especially when the event gets closer.

Do I need to wear my event badge?
Yes. You have to wear it at all time when you are at the convention. We don't want to have things ruined by gate crashers. So please make sure you have them and visible at all times.

Will this event happen for sure?
We have planned this convention for a long time and we ofcourse want to take it place. However we cannot foresee anything. There always can happen something due to which the convention needs to be rescheduled or cancelled. Ofcourse we would not like to cancel it. Further info about rescheduling and cancellation can be found in our legal section.
We minimum need 300 people to get it done. So please tell your friends, family, colleagues, your boss, etc.... and get them over to our convention.

Where will the event be held?
The Xena Fan convention will be held in Auckland. The venue is not yet known. We have already some exclusive venues on the list. Not only depending the number of fans that will attend, but also on what we have in mind and want to show you, and to accomodate our celebrities in a perfect way, that will be announced later on. Keep an eye on our event page as it will be shown there.

Is there a special accomodation rate?
We will try to get a special rate for fans attending the convention in some nearby accomodations. It will be either mentioned at the event page or we will guide you to a special page.

For international fans, will there be a special flight rate?
We are organising a convention and are no travel agency. However, without any guarantee, without any promess, we will ask New Zealand Air, and maybe some others if they are willing to support us. If so, that will surely be announce at our website.

When will tickets go no sale?
As soon as all celebrities have been confirmed, tickets will be released.

Can I sit with my friends?
For all reserved seating tickets, if you want to sit near friends you must order all tickets together under one order. There will also be tickets without reserved seatings, so it is important you order the right way.

How can I buy tickets?
All tickets will be available at our online shop which you can acces through the link at the top of the page. Payments can be done by credit card or paypal. If you have none of those two and you would like to pay in a different way, please contact us before purchasing. We will then inform you how to proceed and inform you about eventual applicable costs. All payment possibilities are bound to transfer charges.

When will the tickets arrive?
The tickets will be sent to you after purchase and after receipt of your payments. Tickets will be sent either by email or by standard or registered mail. For registered mail you will need to sign for them. If you are not at home, you will have to collect them at your local post office. So it is very important to provide us your correct contact information such as email address and full postal address. If your tickets do not arrive for any reason, or if you live overseas, or you purchased your close to the start of the convention so that mailing is no option anymore, simply bring along your receipt (confirmation/proof of payment) and photo ID on the day to collect your ticket from the door or the registration desk.

The venue is not yet announced. How come?
The Xena Fan convention will be held in Auckland. The venue is not yet known. We have already some exclusive venues on the list. Choosing the right venue will depend on the number of fans that will attend, on what we have in mind and what we want to show you. Also we want to accomodate our celebrities in a perfect way. So the venue will be announced later on. Keep an eye on our event page as it will be shown there.

Special Events. When will I be advised as to the time, location and details?
All info about Special Events will be announced and posted on the Event Page.

What are usual Standard Costs?
As with all similar events, you will have to pay for autographs and photo shoot opportunities. Autographs usually go for 40$ depending on the guest and for photo shoot it is usually 40$ for your photo with the celebrity (but also here, depending on the guest). Will there be merchandise available? How do I pay at the convention? Cash or Credit Cards?
We encourage dealers to come to our convention to sell merchandise. Ofcourse we will make available some merchandise related to the convention. Please check with the dealers/retailers what forms of payment they accept before agreeing to any purchase. We are not responsable for problems with dealers/retails as they are third parties (see also our Legal page).

What happens if a guest doesn't come?
We will try to replace with another guest. All convention contracts specify that appearances are tentative and subject to change as film and television work demands take precedence as can a personal conflict, health pending. So if a job comes up they can cancel. If a cast member pulls out we will try to replace it with another interesting cast member. Therefore we cannot refund any ticket if a particular guest does not fulfill their appearance contract. Ofcourse we will always refund or replace separately purchased photo ops and autograph tickets for a guest if they cancel. Only in the event of a full event cancellation are refunds issued.

If I pre-purchase an autograph ticket or photo ops ticks, does that get me into the show, or do I still have to buy an admission ticket?
No. You always will have to purchase an admission ticket to the convention to be able to claim your photo or autograph. Autographs and photo ops tickets do not include admission to the convention. In order to receive your photo ops and autographs at the convention you must also be a convention attendee by having and advance admission ticket (bought on-line) or purchasing one at the door.

You are pre-selling photograph tickets and autograph tickets on your website. Can I still buy them on the day?
We strongly recommend the pre-purchase through our website. You can buy the tickets at the convention if not sold out.

Can I buy tickets at the door, or do I have to buy them in advance?
You can buy them at the door, only if we have not sold our prior to the event. Seating is allocated by when you purchased your tickets. So the earlier you book the better your seats will be. Tickets at the door might be at a higher price.

I am in a wheelchair or have special needs. Can you accommodate this?
Ofcourse we can! Please email us when making your booking and we will make sure to assign you a seat based on your needs.

Is there an age restriction at your events?
We do not impose an age restriction at our event. However, attendees under the age of 15 must be accompagnied by a ticketed responsable adult. If some events are rated M15+ or above, we advise you to consider this when purchasing tickets. You children are welcome, however, should they disturb other attendees you may be asked to leave the auditorium until they have settled down.

I can't attend the event, can I still get an autograph?
Depending on the guest, we might have autographed photos for purchase after the convention. They will be available at the shop.

I bought a ticket, can I upgrade later?
Yes, you can. If you wish to upgrade from a lower price ticket all you need to do is to send us an email to organise the upgrade. If there are still tickets available all you need to do is pay the difference between the ticket prices and we do the rest.

I can't find photograph or autograph tickets on the webshop. Are they not available or sold out?
Normally all tickets are available at the webshop. But you always can buy them at the convention. Again, tickets at the convention might be at a higher price.

What time should I arrive at the event?
Seating is assigned for some tickets. Lower price tickets have no assigned seats. We suggest arriving 20 minutes before the doors are scheduled to open. Attendees that still have to collect their tickets will have to go the registration desk. Attendees who have already their tickets can go to the auditorium and take their places.
